Benvenuti a Bologna!

Benvenuti, warmly welcome to Bologna, wishes the police officer friendly in the arriving hall of the Airport.

He has also with couple of officials of the Organizing Committee. – “Could you please tell your name and how many weapons do you have with you”, the officer asks friendly when checking the name list. After telling him my name, he answers immediately after finding my name and position: So you don´t have any weapons and you do not shoot at the championship. – “No, I shoot only with my cameras”, I answer and give a smile to him. The officer and officials give me a smile back too. –“Benvenuti, warmly welcome again, we´ll take you to the hotel”.

The first impressions were so nice and comfortable, that I even nearly forgot that the German carrier had forgotten my luggage to Frankfurt. The warm welcome continued also when stepping out from the arriving hall. Mild and slow wind welcomed me outside of the hall. The thermometer showed still +24C and it was already half past seven.
