Italy ruled the Skeet Women Team competition

Monday’s last competition was the Skeet Women Team Competition. After the quarter and semi-finals Italy and Ukraine had solved their road to the Gold Match, Cyprus and Poland to the Bronze Match.

Italy superior in Gold Match

Italy didn’t give any change for Ukraine in Gold Match. The beginning was tight and Italy won after first stage by 10-9. In the second stage the Ukrainian team missed dramatically and Italy added its lead already for four clays (21-17). After next stage the Italian lead added once again with two clays (31-25) and the rest was history. Italy won the European Championship with result 40-34.

The Italian team consisted of Diana Bacosi, Katiuscia Spada and Simona Scocchetti. In the Ukrainian silver team competed Viktoria Cherviakova, Iryna Malovichko and Veronica Milcheva.
 
Tight Bronze Match for Cyprus

In the first stage Cyprus took the lead (11-10) with one clay in the Skeet Women Team Bronze Match. After the second stage the situation was still as tight as it was before. The difference of one clay lasted even in to the end of the match. Bronze travelled to Cyprus. The team consisted of Panagiota Andreou, Andri Eleftheriou and Konstatntina Nikolaou.
