Jeanette Hegg Duestad and Simon Claussen were leading the whole final where the athletes shot three 10 shot series each and the team with lowest result was always dropped out. The Norwegian team shot great series (208.5 – 210.7 – 208.8). They didn’t give any possibilities for the other teams.
Silver medal were handed to Russian Federation Team 1 and bronze won Great Britain Team 1. When Kirill Grigorian had shot three shots there was an error in his scoring board system. The Jury informs him that he can continue shooting and the system was running after a while. The teams and audience had to wait until the Jury had checked the shots from the system. The result didn’t change and the announcer had finally the privilege to the winner: Norway Team 2.
So Russian team 1 (Polina Khorosheva and Kirill Grigorian) won silver and Bronze was won by the Great Britain Team 1 (Seonaid McIntosh and Kenneth Parr).
