THE EUROPEAN DOMINANCE IN 50M RIFLE PRONE MEN JUNIOR EVENT

Only young European shooters were in the Final of the 50m Rifle Prone Men Junior event that was disputed at the 51st ISSF World Championship in Granada. After a very tight duel with Alexis Raymond from France the title of the World Champion was won by Christoph Kaulich from Germany. Both ended up with equal result after 20 shots and only the shoot-off determined the winner.

The bronze medal went to Marcin Majka from Poland. Andre Link from Germany finished on the 4th place, Manuel Luescher from Switzerland - on the 5th, Gernot Rumpler from Austria - on the 6th, Aleksi Leppa from Finland - on the 7th and Evgeniy Ishchenko from Russia - on the 8th.

The best result in Team Classification was achieved by the trio from Germany, the shooters from France got the silver medals, the athletes from Russia - the bronze.
