The first major event of 2015 for the European Shooting Confederation is the European Championship 10m. It will take place in Arnhem, Netherlands, on March 2-8. This Championship will be followed by the 1st European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 12-28. The shooting competitions will include 15 individual and 4 Mixed Team events in Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun. Besides medals, one Olympic Quota Place will be disputed in each of the 15 individual events. The 2015 European Championship 25/50/300/RT/Shotgun will be held at the Gaj/Maribor shooting range from July 18 till August 2. 21 Olympic Quota Places will be distributed there in Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun events.
It should be specially mentioned that the European Youth League is entering the seventh season. The Qualification round will be held in Innsbruck, Austria, for the Western region, in Mysen, Norway, for the Northern Region and in Osijek, Croatia, for the Eastern region. The Final will take place in Rottne, Sweden in the first week-end of October.
The XXIV Ordinary ESC General Assembly will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on July 18-19. Hosts of the 2018-2019 European Championship will be determined there. After the meeting the delegates will have a chance to take part in the Opening Ceremony of the 2015 European Championship.
