The first major competitions will be the European Championship 10m in Maribor, Slovenia, on March 6-12, 2017. The four Finals in Air Pistol/Air Rifle Men and Women individual events as well as two Finals in Mixed Team events will be broadcasted on TV. The access to the EBU signal will be possible with written permission from the ESC. In order to get such permission TV companies which are interested to access the signal must apply to the ESC Secretariat (esc@escsport.eu) and pay the applicable rates for the broadcasting rights on the territory of their country.
Three important events will be organized in Baku, Azerbaijan. The first to begin will be the ESC General Assembly. It will take place on July 21-22, 2017. Immediately after will start the European Championship 25/50/300m/RT/Shotgun and the Continental Qualification for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Most of the European Championship's Finals will also be on TV.
