Competition formats for Paris 2024 are approved!

Following the recommendation of the Olympic Programme Commission (OPC), the IOC Executive Board has approved the competition formats for shooting at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

These are the same Trap and Skeet competition formats that have already been used at the World Cup in Nicosia, Cyprus, and are being used at the current World Cup Shotgun in Lima, Peru. As for the Rifle and Pistol events, the new Olympic formats will be applied at the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro starting April 9th.

We congratulate everyone of an important stage in the development of shooting sport was finished and thank those who took an active part in it. The update process, of course, does not end there. We will continue work together.
