Day 2: Within a step of Victory
The second day of Junior Championship was defined by incredibly close finishes and nerves of steel.
The Air Rifle Women Junior final was the highlight of the day. It was a super close battle between Pernille Nor-Woll from Norway and Andelija Stevanovic from Serbia until the very last shot. In the end, grit and a bit of luck were on the side of the Norwegian athlete, who managed to snatch the gold. The bronze went to Elif Berfin Altun from Türkiye. After her win at the 2025 Youth Festival in Skopje, she continues to grow and reach new podiums, following her dream.


In the Air Rifle Men Junior event, the competition was just as fierce. Hungarian Balint Kalman claimed the top spot on the podium, followed by Benedikt Ascher from Germany with silver and Kyrylo Buhaitsev from Ukraine taking home the bronze.

Next up was the Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior, which turned into a major success for AIN athletes In a close final, Aliaksandra Piatrova and Yury Krautsou powered their way to gold, while their teammates Alina Nestsiarovich and Mikita Daubash took home the silver. The bronze was secured by Georgian athletes Mariami Marshava and Giorgi Mumladze.

The day also showcased incredible teamwork. In the Air Rifle Women Team Junior competition, Norway took the gold, with Serbia and Ukraine finishing second and third. Meanwhile, Germany climbed to the top of the podium in the Air Rifle Men Team Junior, followed by Croatia with silver and Italy with bronze.
