ESC President discusses shooting sports development in Georgia

Alexander Ratner paid a working visit to Tbilisi at the initiative of ESC Vice President Nino Salukvadze. Meetings with Georgia’s sports authorities focused on the development of shooting sports and the prospects of hosting official European competitions.

At the Ministry of Sport of Georgia, Alexander Ratner met with Minister Shalva Gogoladze and Deputy Minister Irakli Dolaberidze. The discussions focused on the development of shooting sports and the prospects of hosting official European competitions in Georgia. During the meeting, the Minister congratulated Nino Salukvadze on her recent election to the position of ESC Vice President.


Alexander Ratner also met with the leadership of the Georgian National Olympic Committee, including NOC President Leri Khabelov, First Vice President Elguja Berishvili, and Secretary General Emzar Zenaishvili.
 


During the visit, Alexander Ratner reviewed sports facilities in Tbilisi, visiting the new Sports Palace, a shotgun shooting range, and the Nino Salukvadze Shooting Center, which also hosts the Georgian National Shooting Federation.
