Five months are left till the 25th General Assembly of the European Shooting Confederation. It will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on July 18 – 19, 2015. Among the issues on the agenda there will be discussion of proposals from the Member Federations and decisions on hosts of the European Championships in 2018-2019.
In this connection a circular letter was sent to the Member Federations reminding that, according to Article 5.3 of the ESC Statutes, in order to be included in the agenda to be considered at the General Assembly, the President must receive the matters in one of the official languages at least three (3) months before the General Assembly convenes.
Also, according to Article 3.3 of the ESC General Regulations, at least three (3) months before the General Assembly at which the organizing Federation will be chosen, a Member Federation desiring to organize a European Championship must submit an application to the ESC Secretariat. The applications will be accepted for the 2018 European Championship 10m, the 2018 European Championship Shotgun, the 2019 European Championship 10m and the 2019 European Championship 25m/50m/300m/RT/Shotgun. It means, that all proposals on matters to be included in the agenda of the General Assembly and applications for the European Championships in 2018-2019 must be submitted by the Member Federations no later than April 18, 2015. It can be done by mail (to the ESC Headquarters or to the ESC Secretariat), by fax (+7.495.221.30.07) and by e-mail (esc@escsport.eu).
