Forty six National Olympic Committees (NOCs) can expect the allocation of Quota Places in the shooting sport for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus.
On behalf of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) and the European Shooting Confederation (ESC) the Organizing Committee (MECOG) will inform by the 1st of February 2019 the NOCs of their allocated Quota Places. Then, the NOCs will have one month to confirm the use of those Quotas.
The Qualification System for the 2nd European Games was based on the European Ranking lists as of the 31st of December 2018. According to the Ranking athletes of thirty nine countries won the Quota Places for their NOCs in 8 individual Rifle/Pistol and 4 individual Shotgun events. Another seven NOCs that have athletes in the Ranking Lists are expected to get the Universality Places. The total number of participating nations can even go higher during the process of reallocation of those Quota Places that may become vacant in March.
The shooting program of the 2nd European Games includes 12 individual and 7 Mixed Team events. The distribution of the Quotas, including Qualification, Universality and Host NOC Places, will be published on the ESC website on February 1st, 2019.
