6. European Youth League Championship

Following the discussion during the 2017 ESC General Assembly in Baku, Azerbaijan, it was decided to change the status of the European Youth League to European Youth League Championship. The Rules for the European Youth League Championship have been approved also as well as the necessary amendments to the ESC General Regulations. Those amendments are subject to the final approval of the next General Assembly according to the article 7.2.5 of the ESC Statutes.

The Rules for the European Youth League Championship can be found here.

The first European Youth League Championship Final will take place in Budapest, Hungary, on October 4th – 6th, 2019.

7. Double Trap

With disappointment the Presidium learned that only five (5) Member Federations had registered Double Trap Mixed Teams in the 2018 European Championship Shotgun. That meant that the requirements of the Qualification system for the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, could not be met. It was perceived with deep regret that the Double Trap community did not use the chance to demonstrate the support to its own discipline. Consequently, the Organizing Committee of the 2019 European Games excluded Double Trap Mixed Team event from the program of the competitions.

Fortunately, the Organizing Committee and the European Olympic Committees agreed with the ESC request to redistribute the 18 Quota Places, previously designated for Double Trap Mixed Team event, among other Shotgun events.

The new Qualification system for the 2019 European Games in Minsk can be found here.

8. 2019 ESC General Assembly

The proposal of the Hungarian Shooting Federation to host the next ESC Ordinary General Assembly in Budapest in October of 2019 was accepted.
