ESC NEWS
Thanks to the Tutors!
The ESC Coaching Development Course in Tallinn, Estonia, left a positive impression on both participants and organizers.
Participants successfully completed the educational program and passed their final assessments, marking a significant step forward in their professional development. The ESC and all course participants express their deep gratitude to the Tutors Anne Grethe Jeppesen and Jelena Arunović for their invaluable contributions.
The certificates were presented by ESC Vice-President Pekka Kuusisto.
Michael Bargeron, a rifle coach from Great Britain, shared his thoughts:
“Without a doubt, courses like this are extremely important. Having this program in Europe is a big achievement. What’s especially valuable is the group work for coaches—it really helps us share experience and grow together. The homework assignments were very valuable and interesting. The most important part was that we had the chance to review and discuss them during the course—it really helped reinforce the material. The practical sessions were highly engaging, and the collaboration with colleagues was much stronger than I expected. Meeting face-to-face creates a completely different atmosphere and allows us to work more closely together. This course has huge potential, and it’s already clear that it’s an excellent foundation for coach development. I’m confident it will get even better in the future and help us all grow as professionals”.
Looking ahead, ESC plans to expand its coaching education opportunities, with further courses expected in 2025. Member federations interested in hosting these courses are warmly encouraged to get involved.
