The European Championship in Châteauroux was visited by the FITASC President, Mr. Jean François Palinkas

After inspecting the shooting range and attending the final of the Trio event, he praised the Olympic shooting range and the organization of the competition.

He also expressed his interest in hosting international tournaments under the auspices of the FITASC at this range.

Mr. Palinkas was warmly welcomed by the athletes who know him from sporting competitions. During his visit, he was accompanied by the President of the European Shooting Confederation, Mr. Alexander Ratner, and the Secretary General, Mrs. Melis Giraud.
