The year of premieres is coming!

2025 will be the year of several premieres in the European shooting sport.

It will start with the first ever European Championship 10m for athletes under 16 and 18 years of age to be held in Tallinn, Estonia, in February.

In continuation, in March – and also for the first time - there will be two separate European Championships in Air Rifle/Air Pistol events in Osijek, Croatia. This innovation will allow Juniors take part in both, if their Member Federations decide so.

In the end of June – beginning of July Athens, Greece, will host the first ever European Championship Shotgun for athletes under 18 years of age. Shortly after, the shooting sport will make its debut at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje, North Macedonia.

A new format of competitions will be implemented at the European Champions League. Introduction of the Target Sprint events is under discussion.

All those premieres together with the traditional European competitions – SIUS European Youth League Championship, Lapua 25m and 300m European Cups, the Air Cup and, of course, the main European Championship 25/50/300m, RT/SH in Châteauroux, France, promise an exciting 2025 season.
