Shooting is invited to become part of the III European Games
The European Olympic Committees (EOC) have expressed interest to include shooting sport in the III European Games program. The EOC and the ESC have begun discussing an Agreement that will define the mutual responsibilities of the parties, as well as the athletes quotas, the number of events and of the competition days.
All top European athletes took part in the shooting sport competitions at the two previous editions of the European Games - 2015 in Baku and 2019 in Minsk, with Olympic quotas allocated in each individual event.
The Organizers of the 2023 Games express their hope that the shooting sport competitions will maintain the highest level of representation and will become part of the qualification system for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The III European Games are to be held in Poland from June 21 to July 2, 2023.
