Ukraine and Spain on the top of ranking in Air Pistol

The first round of the European Youth League Championship Finals were competed on Friday and the matches will continue today on Saturday. The teams were competing in two groups in both disciplines.

After the first competition day Ukraine is at top of ranking of the group 1 by winning both two games (match points 23+24). Second in ranking is Italy who won also both matches, but his match points were a little bit lover (18+24). On following situation was Czechian team with one victory. Latvia and Lithuania didn´t have any victories in group 1 on Friday.

In the Group 2 Spain and Poland won both matches, points: ESP 18+20, POL 17+21. Third is Sweden with one victory. Estonia and Croatia were without victories after the first competition day.

In Rifle Hungary, Austria and Norway on top

In Rifle Group 1 Hungary has won both matches and is clearly on the top (14+20), but behind Hungary the situation is much tighter. Ukraine (mp 20+8), Sweden (10+16) and Serbia (14+10) have won one match.

In Rifle Group 2 Austria is on top of ranking (Mp 22+19) before Norway (16+22). Teams won their both matches, but Austria has better match points. Italy is on the third place of the ranking by winning one match. Finland and Estonia have not yet won any matches.

After Saturday´s rounds the best of the ranking will compete in Gold Match and the two second best in the Bronze Match.

The Medal Matches will be competed on Sunday in Kalev Sport Hall.
