Vladimir Lisin named as candidate for ISSF President

Vladimir Lisin, the ESC President and currently the ISSF Vice-President, has been named by Olegario Vázquez Raña, the ISSF President, as his choice to succeed him to the position of ISSF President. It happened on May 17th, 2018 during the Opening of the French National Shooting Centre in Châteauroux in which both leaders attended upon the invitation of Philippe Crochard, the President of the French Shooting Sport Federation.

In his speech in front of nearly 500 guests, Olegario Vázquez Raña wished Vladimir Lisin good luck in the elections that will take place on November 30 this year.

The ESC President confirmed his readiness to assume the responsibility and to do his best for the future development of the shooting sport, to continue the successful activities of the international federation.

Both, Olegario Vázquez Raña and Vladimir Lisin, congratulated the French Shooting Sport Federation upon the opening of their wonderful sports facility and personally thanked Philippe Crochard for the invitation to the event.

Vladimir Lisin also wished good luck to the French athletes as they prepare to participate in the upcoming events where not only medals, but Olympic Quota Places will be competed for.
