2024 season starts with records

614 athletes have been registered already to compete in the European Championships 10m that starts coming Sunday in Győr, Hungary.

It is a record number of participants in the 10m Air Rifle and Air Pistol events in the history of the European Championships!

Another record will be set by the audience to follow the 2024 European Championship in Győr. MTVA, the Hungarian TV company, will show live the competitions for the local public. Besides, the TV companies of Switzerland, Türkiye, Croatia, Slovenia, Norway and Italy have obtained the rights to broadcast the Finals on the territory of their countries.

The record numbers reflect the growing popularity of the shooting sport in Europe as a result of many strategic initiatives introduced by the ESC in the recent years.
