Looking into the future

The ESC Presidium during its last meeting in Győr, has taken several decisions aiming at the further development of the shooting sport in Europe and the enhancing of its governance.

Follow-up of the decisions of the ESC XXIX Ordinary General Assembly
A Working Group was established tasked with collecting, reviewing and developing proposals submitted by the Members aiming in the preparation of possible amendments to the ESC Statutes in order to enhance and improve the ESC own governance.

Amendments to the ESC General Regulations
Several amendments were approved that put the ESC General Regulations in line with the ISSF General Regulations and reflect the reality of the sport.

Finances
The ESC Balance for 2023 and the Preliminary Budget for 2024 were approved.

2024 European Champions League
The hosts and the dates of the 2024 European Champions League were determined:

  • Shotgun – September 19th-22nd, Wrocław, Poland.
  • Air Rifle/Air Pistol – October 24th-27th, Belgrade, Serbia.

2025 European Championship 25/50/300m/RT/Shotgun, Châteauroux, France
The dates for this Championship have been confirmed. It will be held on July 23rd – August 7th, 2025.

2026 European Championship 10m
An Evaluation Commission has been formed to visit the two candidates who applied to host this Championship – Armenia and Bulgaria – and make a report to the Presidium, for final decision.
