THE TREMENDOUS START OF THE ESC AIR CUP

The ESC Air Cup - competitions among individual shooters in Air Pistol and Air Rifle that are taking place in Europe for the first time this year - have started in October with a tremendous success. More than 140 shooters from different clubs of ten countries have entered the competitions already.

The biggest number of competitors is registered in Air Pistol Men. 60 shooters from 15 clubs of Switzerland, Bulgaria, Sweden, Netherlands and France took part in the competitions and have established the first ranking in this event.

30 shooters from 13 clubs of Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, Sweden, Spain and Portugal began the champions’ race in Air Pistol Men.

A very good representation has been achieved in Women events as well. In Air Rifle there are 27 shooters from 11 clubs of Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Hungary and Norway in the first ranking. In the Air Pistol 25 shooters from 10 clubs of France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Sweden are competing for the overall victory.

No doubt that the second month of the ESC Air Cup will show the growing interest to the new initiative among the European shooting community, and a special website will be created within a short period of time.
