Time for Records has come!

Now it was young ladies’ time to shoot.

Mariami Prodiashvili from Georgia, Manja Slak from Slovenia and Olívia Ditta Domsits from Hungary were competing for medals of the Air Pistol Women Junior event.

Prodiashvili took the lead from the very beginning and did not let go until the very end of the match. With each shot, her points advantage over the other participants only increased. And finally Georgian won the event with 242,2 points which meant a new European Junior Record! The difference between her and Slak who has taken the second place, was astonishing 4,6 points!

This Gold medal is already the third for Prodiashvili here in Győr: earlier she became the best in Air Pistol Mixed Team event and Air Pistol Women Junior Team event – to a certain extent, this is a record as well!

In Team event – as already mentioned before – Georgians Mariami Prodiashvili, Mariam Abramishvili, and Salome Prodiashvili became the best. Italians Alessandra Fait, Federica Quattrocchi, and Cristina Magnani and Germans Celina Becker, Johanna Blenck, and Lydia Vetter took second and third places.
