Awards boom in Osijek
Yesterday was a spectacular day of celebrations in Osijek, with an "awards boom" that saw both Seniors and Juniors take to the podium.
The day was entirely dedicated to the ESC Challenge, and the action in the final range started with the finalists of 25m Pistol Duet. The Czech duo, Helena Klailova and Jindrich Dubovy, delivered a powerful performance, surging ahead to claim a decisive victory over Azerbaijan’s Zeynab Sultanova and Ruslan Lunev, who secured the silver.

The bronze medal match was equally intense, with the Turkish duet, Sevval Ilayda Tarhan and Sertac Yildirim, proving their precision against Slovakia. With a final score of 13-7, Türki̇ye claimed a well-earned bronze.
50m Rifle 3 Positions Trio Men final was a true battle of nerves. The Norwegian team – Jon-Hermann Hegg, Henrik Larsen, and Ole Martin Halvorsen – displayed incredible composure, finishing just two points ahead to secure the gold.
The Czech trio – Jiri Privratsky, David Hrckulak, and Filip Nepejchal – fought until the last shot to take home the silver.
In the bronze medal match, Switzerland’s Jan Lochbihler, Christoph Duerr, and Fabio Paul Wyrsch overcame a strong Polish team to complete the podium.
The medal ceremonies for 25m Standard Pistol (Men, Women, and Juniors) highlighted the incredible depth of the Ukrainian team. By the end of the day, their athletes had claimed the highest number of medals in this discipline, consistently taking the top spots across several categories.
