ESC Delegation Attends the 55th EOC General Assembly
The ESC, represented by President Mr Ratner, Secretary General Mr Aleinik, and Institutional Affairs and Governance Director Mrs Baramia, is taking part in the 55th European Olympic Committees General Assembly in Budapest.
The two-day agenda features key discussions on major continental sports events, including the 2027 European Games in Istanbul and future editions of the European Youth Olympic Festival.
While the sports programme for the upcoming EYOF in Lignano Sabbiadoro has been reviewed, the ESC is actively engaging with future hosts, Latvia and Belgium. Latvia has already successfully secured shooting sports on its official programme, and the ESC is currently working hard to ensure its inclusion in Belgium as well.
During the Assembly, ESC President Alexander Ratner presented EOC President Spyros Capralos with a special appreciation for their shared values and unified vision. "In our sport, as in leadership, precision and focus shape the future," President Ratner noted, emphasizing the continuous, close cooperation and strong working relationship between the EOC and the ESC.
The ESC, as the official governing body for shooting sports in Europe, directly shapes the future of the sport within the Olympic movement on the continent and works hand in hand with leading sports institutions.
