Bulgaria and Türkiye take multiple medals

Five sets of medals were awarded yesterday.

On March 9th in the 10m Air Pistol Women Final Şevval Ilayda Tarhan from Türkiye took the lead from the very beginning of the match took the lead and didn't let it go until the very end. So she won the Gold with an impressive difference of 2,1 points ahead of Serbian Zorana Arunović. Miroslava Mincheva from Bulgaria took Bronze.

In Team event the best was Team France (Camille Jedrzejewski, Céline Goberville, Annabelle Pioch) followed by Bulgaria (Miroslava Mincheva, Antoaneta Kostadinova, Adiel Radoslavova Ilieva) and Türkiye (Şevval Ilayda Tarhan, Şimal Yilmaz, Esra Bozabali).

In the Men's event the situation, in general, was similar to the Women's: Slovak Juraj Tužinský quickly rose to the top line and remained there. Pavel Schejbal from Czechia took Silver with a difference of 1,6 points. Jason Solari from Switzerland finished third in the top three.

Team Czechia (Pavel Schejbal, Jindřich Dubový, Pavel Svetlík) showed the best result. Italians Federico Nilo Maldini, Paolo Monna, and Matteo Mastrovalerio took Silvers, and Ukrainians Viktor Bankin, Oleh Omelchuk, and Pavlo Korostylov - Bronzes.

In the Bronze medal match of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event Jeanette Hegg Duestad and Jon-Hermann Hegg beat the Italian pair Barbara Gambaro/Edoardo Bonazzi with 16-8. In the fight for Golds Audrey Gogniat and Jan Lochbihler from Switzerland took over Serbians Aleksandra Havran and Aleksa Rakonjac with 17-9. It is worth noting that a few days ago, here in Osijek, Aleksa Rakonjac won the Gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Men Junior event!
