The Ukrainian Pavlo Korostylov set a new world and European record The Ukrainian Pavlo Korostulov set the pace of the 25m Pistol Men Junior competition. He crowned his performance with a new world and European record, which is now 590 points. He won the gold with the difference of 8 points. The Russian Nikita Sukhanov became the silver medal winner with the result of 582 points. The winner of the bronze is also from the Russian Federation - Pavel Yudin, with the result of 579 points.

The Russian Federation won the European Championship in the team competition with the result of 1739 points, beating France and Germany. The team consisted of Nikita Sukhanov (582), Pavel Yudin(579) and Denis Kartashov(578). France won the silver medal with the result of 1711 points defeating Germany (1708 points).

France is the best in 300m Rifle Prone Men Team competition

France showed its power in the team competition of 300m Risfle Prone Men. It was not a knockdown victoryas Sweden received the same result with less inner tens. Both teams received the result of 1788 points, France had 98 inner tens and Sweden had 95 inner tens. Denmark with the result of 1783 points became the second Scandinavian team to get on the podium. The French team consisted of Valerian Sauveplane (599), Cyril Graff(597) and Josselin Henry (592).

Anders Brolund won 300m Rifle Prone Men

In the individual competition Anders Brolund from Sweden won the European Championship with the fine result of 599 points. He missed one ten in the fourth series. There was a hot contest for the silver medal. Marcel Buerge from Switzerland and Valerian Sauveplane received the same result, but as Buerge managed to hit 45 inner tens, he won the silver medal. Sauveplane had 33 inner tens and won the bronze.

The Estonian Anzela Voronova - the Queen of 300m Rifle 3 Positions Women

Estonia received its first gold medal when Anzela Voronova was crowned as the Queen of 300m Rifle 3 Positions Women.

Voronova won the gold medal with the result of 586 points. She had four points more than Karolina Kowallczyk (582) from Poland. Kowalczyk won her silver medal with the difference of one point from the Ukrainian Lessia Leskiv (581).

Switzerland equalled the world and European record

In the team competition Switzerland won the gold with the equalled world and European record. The result was 1727 points. The team consisted of Bettina Bucher (581), Marina Schnider (576) and Myriam Bruehwiler (570). Poland became the winner of the silver medal with the result of 1722 points. Norway ranked third with the result of 1696 points.
