Cooperation and openness between the ESC and the Nordic Committee
On May 15, the Nordic Committee held its meeting in Osijek, Croatia where the European Championships are going on in a row.
This time the ESC was honored to participate in the opening part of the meeting with a welcome speech presented by Secretary General Mr. Yahor Aleinik.
The event gathered leaders from national federations of Denmark, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Norway, and Sweden. 
Mr. Aleinik noted and welcomed the committee’s active work remarking that Nordic countries make great input in the development of the shooting sport. He praised medal achievements of countries at current Championships which were 23 medals by that day.
He specially thanked the region for European championships, cups and leagues.
Summarizing his welcome speech Secretary General emphasized the openness of the ESC for cooperation with the Nordic Committee for the benefit of the shooting sport. The proposal was welcomed and supported by the participants of the meeting.
