Emotions!!!
Yesterday was a day full of passions!
It was impossible to predict the outcome until the end of almost all the Finals – what a show! And the audience behaved accordingly!
It all started relatively calmly. In the Bronze medal match of the 10m Air Pistol Trio Men Junior event Poland (Piotr Bujewicz, Wiktor Łukasz Kopiwoda, and Ivan Rakitski) beat Bulgaria (Viktor Todorov Bonev, Damyan Diyanov Iliev, and Petar Vladimirov Ivanov) with 16-6. Georgia (Ioane Khvareshia, Giorgi Mumladze, and Shota Sumbadze) beat Ukraine (Maksym Kaminskyy, Ivan Martynov, and Maksym Himon) in the fight for Gold with the same score.
After that, the situation began to escalate. Team (Croatia Ema Bračanov, Anna Ćukušić, and Lana Špirelja) was better than Team Latvia (Kristiāna Agule, Alise Dvarišķe, and Līva Krūmiņa) and won Bronzes with 16-12. The Golden Match ended again with the same score, and the winner was again the Georgian team! So Mariami Marshava, Mariam Abramishvili, and Mariami Prodiashvili took over Turkish Tuğba Bugur, Ilayda Nur Çürük, and Gülsunar Tarhan.
The tension continued to rise. Serbian Stefan Agović was better than Greek Angelos Stylianos Sarantakis with 15-12 and took Bronze medal of the 10m Air Rifle Solo Men Junior event. Swedish Jesper Johansson beat German Florian Reinhard Beer with 15-9 and became the European Champion.
Everything reached its apogee when the beautiful ladies entered the arena. In an extremely emotional and tense Bronze medal match Anastasija Živković from Serbia took over Wilhelmina Kalina Woskowiak with 15-8.
And, finally, Elif Berfin Altun from Türkiye defeated Réka Toma from Hungary with 15-12 and became the European Champion too!
Thanks to everyone for a great performance!
