Europe is increasing the lead in Olympic Qualification
At the last two ISSF World Cups in Changwon and Beijing the European athletes have obtained 17 Olympic quota places out of 25 on stake. It means that at the 2019 ISSF World Cups the European athletes have won 41 out of 72 quota places available.
If added to the quotas allocated at the 2018 ISSF World Championship in Changwon, the European athletes secured already 68 individual quota places and 8 in Mixed Teams.
23 European nations have already guaranteed their representation in Tokyo. Russia is continuing its lead in the continental ranking with 9 individual and 6 Mixed Team Quota Places. France, Germany and Slovakia have won 5 quota places each, Croatia, Norway and Ukraine - 4 quota places each, Great Britain, Hungary and Serbia - 3 quota places each.
The next ISSF World Cups will take place in Lahti and Rio de Janeiro but less than in just two weeks the 2nd European Games in Minsk begin where another 12 quota places will be allocated.
