Georgia and Bulgaria bests in 10m Air Pistol Trio U16 and U18

The last day of the Championships started with the 10m Air Pistol Trio U16 and U18.

From the Qualifications of U16 to the Semifinals managed to get places Georgia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Türkiye.

In the semifinal 1 Ukraine and Türkiye had a hard mach. Ukraine won it finally with result 13-11 and entered to the Gold Match. In the semifinal 2 Georgia did not give really any possibilities to Lithuania. Georgia entered to the Gold Match with result 12-4.

In the Gold Match of 10m Air Pistol Trio U16 Ukraine started strongly. In the situation 8-6 started Georgia’s run. Hit by hit they neared and finally passed team Ukraine. Ukraine had three match points, but Georgia won the points and passed to the gold. The Georgia team consisted of Sandro Khositashvili, Revaz Liluashvili and Luka Kobakhidze. Bronze to Turkiye and Lithuania.

In the 10m Air Pistol Trio U 18 Bulgaria, Armenia, Lithuania and Poland reached the place to semifinals. In Semifinal 1 Bulgaria beat Lithuania with result 12-8 and went to the Gold match. In the Semifinal 2 Armenia beat after tight fight Poland with result 12-10 and continued to Gold match.

So, Bulgaria and Armenia met at the Gold Match. Armenia made good shooting but Bulgaria was all the time “one step forward” and won finally gold with result 12-8. The Bulgarian team consisted of Boris Dimitrov, Damyan Iliev, and Kaloyan Petkov.
