Larnaca and Wrocław determine the first quota places owners.
The European Championships in Larnaca (Shotgun) and Wrocław (25/50m) opened the qualification for 2024 Olympic Games and 2023 European Games.
The first 16 quotas for Paris 2024 were won by athletes from 9 nations. The absolute leader by now is the Czech Republic with 4 quotas. Germany has 3, Great Britain and Italy — 2 each, Denmark, France, Norway, Poland and Sweden — 1 each.
The next portion of quotas — 4 in each individual Olympic event — will be allocated at the ISSF World Championship Shotgun in Osijek and the ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol in Cairo.
Athletes from 29 nations have guaranteed already their participation in the III European Games. The leaders are Italy with 10 quota places, Czech Republic — 9, Great Britain and France — 8 each, Germany and Ukraine — 7 each.
12 quota places in each of the Air Rifle/Air Pistol events will be allocated at the 2023 European Championship 10m in Tallinn.
The remaining quotas will be allocated according to the European Games Qualification Ranking.
