Latvian Ernest Erbs ruled the 25 m Standard Pistol Men in Lapua European Cup in Tallinn

Latvian athletes showed their strongness by taking the victory and bronze medal and having 2 more among the six best athletes in 25m Standard Pistol Men in Lapua European Cup, which finish today in Tallinn.

Team Latvia won also the team Competition.

The of Latvians was Ernests Erbs, who took a superior victory with result 577 (20X) before Estonian Peeter Olesk and Latvian Rihards Zorge. His series were 193-190-194.

• I was alittle bit surprised too when the 10 sec series were my best ones (97-97). Even the last one was the best, but I felt it when much worser. Ohhh, that was something, sighed the winner Erbst.
• Congratulations Ernest, you made an excellent job, extremely nice last series, congratulated silver medalist Olesk the winner Erbst.

Latvia was also superior in team competition with result 1697(51 x). The team won gold with the difference of 24 points. The Latvian gold team consisted of Ernest Erbs (577), Rihards Zorge (565) and Daniels Vilcins (555). Silver team was Estonia (1673) and bronze medal winner was Finland (1667).
