Shotgun U18 Championship starts with record participation
The 2026 European Championship Shotgun U18 has officially started in Osijek, Croatia.
This format was launched by the European Shooting Confederation to give young athletes a great chance to compete at a high level and gain valuable experience early in their careers.
The U18 category is growing very fast, and we have more participants this year. The first Championship in Malakasa, Greece in 2025 had 94 athletes from 19 countries, while the tournament in Osijek has grown to 109 athletes from 20 nations. For comparison, the Junior World Cup in Shotgun in Cairo had 107 young athletes. These young talents will compete for medals in 18 events during the Championship.
