Skeet Mixed Team Final: drama of the last round
17 Skeet Mixed Teams representing 12 nations took part in the event. Duos from Italy, Cyprus, Great Britain, and Ukraine have cleared their way to Medal Matches.
In the Bronze Medal Match Great Britain (Ben Llewellin and Amber Rutter) won against Ukraine (Mykola Milchev and Iryna Malovichko) by 6:4.
In the Gold Medal Match Italy (Gabriele Rossetti and Simona Scocchetti) met Cyprus (Andreas Chasikos and Anastasia Eleftheriou). First two rounds – tie. In the next two series each Mixed Team scored one clay more than the contenders. Same as in the Bronze Medal Match, the last – 5th round became decisive: Italy hit all the targets while Cyprus missed two. Italy took Gold with the score 6:4.
Medals were presented by the European Olympic Committees President, Mr. Spyros Capralos.
