Air Pistol Trio Men event closed the Championships

A great end to a great tournament!

In the Bronze Medal Match Team Hungary (János Polgár, Miklós Tátrai-Fejes, Szabolcs Trájer) met Team Latvia (Emīls Vasermanis, Ernests Erbs, Lauris Strautmanis). Hungarians won with a score of 16-8.

The fight for Golds was much harder. Ukrainian Team (Oleh Omelchuk, Pavlo Korostylov, Viktor Bankin) took the lead from the very beginning till the score 7-1 in their favor against Türkiye (Yusuf Dikeç, İsmail Keleş, Buğra Selimzade).

After that Turks equaled the score! Then – again tie: 9-9.

Ukrainian Team managed to win one more shot. So the Match ended with the score 11-17 for Türkiye.

After the Medal Ceremony Mr. László Molnár, head of International Department of the Hungarian Shooting Federation, and Mr. György Nagy, President of the Hungarian Shooting Federation and Vice-President of the European Shooting Confederation, gave thanksgiving speeches.

Then Mr. Alexander Ratner, President of the European Shooting Confederation, declared the Championships closed.

According to established tradition, the ESC flag was handed over to the Organizers of the next Championships which will be held in Osijek, Croatia.

And finally, the Organizing Committee thanked the volunteers, without whose invaluable help the Tournament would not have taken place.
