Unimaginable Final!
What we’ve just seen was amazing!
In the fight for Bronzes Team Bulgaria (Antoaneta Kostadinova, Miroslava Mincheva, Adiel Radoslavova Ilieva) met Team Georgia (Lizi Kiladze, Mariami Marshava, Nino Salukvadze).
The Bulgarians started very confidently and took 10 points in a row. After a timeout Georgians managed to make the score 10-6. However, they were unable to cope with the pressure of their opponents, and Bulgaria won with a score of 16-6.
The tension hanging in the air can only be felt when you are in the Final Hall. The best example of this was the Gold Medal Match.
Team Hungary (Sára Ráhel Fábián, Miriam Jákó, Veronika Major) met Team Ukraine (Yuliia Isachenko, Viliena Bevz, Olena Kostevych).
It was a battle of mastodons. Battle of the best of the best.
Like in the Bronze Medal Match, Ukrainians took the first 10 points. The next 10 points were for the Hungarians! Next shot – 11-11. The next two shots were taken by Team Ukraine, and the score became 15-11. It would seem that victory is already in Ukraine’s pocket: after all, there was only one shot left. But then Hungarians made something inconceivable making the score 15-15! And finally they won Golds!
It’s impossible to describe – you have to be there and feel it!
