Strong nerves matter

30 athletes from 20 nations took part in Qualification of the Trap Men event. As always, 8 of them proceeded to Ranking Matches.

In the Ranking Match 1 Vladimir Štěpán from Czechia and Mauro De Filippis from Italy shot better than Nedim Tolga Tunçer from Türkiye and João Azevedo from Portugal. In the Ranking Match 2 Rickard Ulf Sigvard Levin Andersson from Sweden and Francesco Ravalico from Croatia left Gianluca Chetcuti from Malta and Andrés García from Spain out of competitions.

In the Medal Match Ravalico was first to leave the range after the 3rd series. Levin Andersson took Bronze medal. After that a strained duel started between De Filippis and Štěpán. More experienced De Filippis won it in the 7th series with a difference of just 1 point and got the 2024 Paris quota place as well. Štěpán took Silver. The final score was 32:31.
