- This is the 1st Final of the European Youth League with 10 teams but it’s the 13th EYL Final. After the first Final in Denmark in 2009 we have visited many countries around Europe and now it’s once again time for us to meet our friends from Estonian Shooting Sport Federation here in Tallinn, welcomed Mrs Ghislaine Briez, the Chairwomen of the ESC Technical Committee, the athletes and teams to Tallinn.
- For many young athletes the League Championship is the first chance to get some international experience and over the years we have seen many EYLCH athletes on the podium at European Championships, World Championship and even the Youth Olympic Games, reminded Briez.
- The European Shooting Confederation is very grateful to Estonian Shooting Sport Federation and all the volunteers for hosting this Final. We have already enjoyed the good organization and the warm hospitality. I would like to wish you all good luck and look forward to exiting competitions in the spirit of fair play and friendship wished Briez and declared the EYLCH opened.
