THE ESC MEMBER FEDERATIONS ARE HEADING TO MUNICH

The ESC Member Federations are heading to Munich where the ISSF General Assembly is going to take place on December 2 and 3. Fifty four out of fifty six ESC Member Federations have already registered their delegates to this important event. The ESC has prepared a special Activity report for the period of 2012-2014 that will be distributed at the ISSF General Assembly.

On the first day of the ISSF General Assembly the delegates will have to approve several reports, including the Activity reports of the ISSF President, Secretary General, Sections Committees, and to elect the host of the 2017 ISSF Shotgun World Championship. On the second day of the General Assembly elections to the ISSF governing bodies will take place. The ESC President Vladimir Lisin who has been nominated as candidate for a position of ISSF Vice-President, openly declared his support to the current ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña who is running for his 9th presidential term.


The day before the ISSF General Assemble, December 1, the informal meeting of the ESC Member Federation will be held. The participants of this meeting will be informed about the preparations to the most important events of 2015. In particular, the European Championship 10m in Arnhem (Netherlands), the ESC General Assembly and the ECH Championship 25/50/300m/RT/Shotgun in Maribor (Slovenia).


Special attention will be given to the preparations of the 1st European Games in Baku (Azerbaijan) where 330 top European shooters will compete for 19 sets of medals: 15 in individual Olympic events and 4 in experimental Mixed Team events - 2 in Pistol and Rifle and 2 in Trap and Skeet - with teams composed of one man and one woman. Shooters from 37 European countries have already obtained Quota Places for the 1st European Games that are to take place on June 12-28, 2015.


The meeting of the ESC Member Federations will be followed by a welcome dinner on behalf of the ESC President for all delegates of the ISSF General Assembly.
