Warmly welcome to Tallinn, Estonia!
The capital of Estonia, Tallinn, is an awesome place to organize the 10m European Shooting Championship.
The first official competitions shots start on Tuesday, 7th March at 9.15 in Unibet Arena when the Juniors will start their first event – Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior. Finals will be organized in the Ring Sport and Spa Center. The first Final, Air Pistol Mixed Teams, will take place in the afternoon at 13.45. The Championship will last until into the evening of Sunday 12th March.
There are over 500 athletes from 40 European nations. Athletes are competing of course the European Championship medal but also for quota places (8) for their countries into the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. This is not all, while 48 best men/women will win a personal quota place for the III European Games in Wrocław, Poland, in July (12 best women in Air Pistol, 12 best women in Air Rifle and the same number in Men’s events).
I’m not wondering why here has been so many international sport events and will not. The reason is simple: transportation from Tallinn airport takes just 10-15 minutes, and you are at your hotel. Hotels are modern and there will be more and more new ones. The service and personnel are friendly. The Ministries see the huge opportunities and use them by supporting the sport too.
There is a lot of interesting seeing in the city center; old and new - all very close. And of course you will find the many sport venues or venues which can be moderated for sport events easily, like the huge Unibet Arena and the brand new Ring Sport and Spa Center. And think about all this Airport, hotels, museums, restaurants, so close. Transportation from hotels to Unibet Arena, where the Qualifications will take place, takes only 20 min. So it is easy to say: you really enjoy your stay!
Tallinn will offer you interesting and exciting events during the whole week. Come to watch and enjoy! Warmly welcome to Tallinn!
