Wednesday was full of 10m Air Rifle Solos
Wednesday was also the Solo Final day. The athletes competed trough two qualification before the four best reached the place to the Bronze and Gold match.
The 10m Air Rifle Solo U16 Women
The first Solo Medal Matches were in Air Rifle Solo U16 Women. Into the Gold Match received the two best athletes after the 2nd Qualification; place to the Bronze Match then the third and fourth after the 2nd Qualification.
In the Gold Match of the 10m Air Rifle Solo U16 Women met Croatian Marina Kožar and Zakira Pušina (BIH). Pušina was finally better after tight fight 12-11.
The place to the Bronze Match reached Hungarian Emma Dombi and Estonian Olesja Issatšenkova. Emma was superior in this match and won it clearly 12-6.
The 10m Air Rifle Solo U18 Women
In the 10m Air Rifle Solo U18 Women the two best after the Qualifications were Serbian Anastasija Živković and Polish Kamila Lutowska. They met in the Gold Match. Anastasija won finally quite clearly Kamila with result 12-9.
Place into the Bronze Match reached Hungarian Csilla Ferik and Julia Rochowska from Poland too. This match showed that medal matches are not so easy. Hungarian girl won the Bronze after tight fight with result 12-11.
The 10m Air Rifle Solo U16 Men
In the 10m Air Rifle Solo U16 Men Ondřej Smolný surprised yesterday Gold medalist Austrian Johannes Hoffelner and took the Gold medal. This Match was the only match, which ended 12-12. So the athlete who is hitting and making the point would win Gold. And the victory went a little bit surprisingly to Ondřej Smolný (CZE) 13-12.
In Bronze match Hungarian Zoltán Leopold beat Israelian Zuntz Ravid with result 12-8.
The 10m Air Rifle Solo U18 Men
Arseni Livantsou (AIN) won Gold in The 10m Air Rifle Solo U18 Men Szymon Jarowski (POL) 12-8 and in the Bronze match Croatian Toma Tadic beat Hungarian Csongor Lévai with the same result 12-8.
