2023 European Ranking
The European Ranking for the year 2023 is now completed.
It includes all European athletes that appear in the ISSF World Ranking (WR) as well as those European athletes who participated in the ESC/ISSF Championships in individual Olympic events but did not receive any WR ranking points.
The longest ranking list is in Trap Men. It includes 129 names. Only one name less (128) is in 10m Air Rifle Women. They are followed by Skeet Men – 102 names, 10m Air Rifle Men – 100 names and 10m Air Pistol Women – 87 names.
Interesting to note that there are more female athletes in the ranking lists of the Rifle/Pistol events and two times more male athletes in the ranking lists of respective Shotgun events.
Nine athletes who are on top of the 2023 European Ranking are № 1 in the 2023 World Ranking: Zalán Pekler (Hungary, 10m AR M), Petr Nymburský (Czech Republic, 50m R 3P M), Damir Mikec (Serbia, 10m AP M), Giovanni Cernogoraz (Croatia, Trap M), Eetu Kallioinen (Finland, Skeet M), Jeanette Hegg Duestad (Norway, 50m R 3P W), Anna Korakaki (Greece, 10m AP W), Doreen Vennekamp (Germany, 25m P W) and Danka Barteková (Slovakia, Skeet W).
