A day full of Challenges and Golden Hits
Today’s Championship program was dedicated to the ESC Challenge events – in particular, to the Trap Duet Mixed Team event.
Juniors started first. In the pretty tight Bronze medal match team Great Britain 1 (Thomas William Betts and Leah Southall) beat team Italy 2 (Luca Gerri and Elena Navelli) with 6-4 and a Golden Hit.
Team Italy 1 (Matteo Dambrosi and Giorgia Lenticchia) won an unconditional victory over Czechs Ondřej Šťastný and Martina Matějková with a score of 7-1 and a Golden Hit too and took Golds.
And here came the Golden Hit again! Team San Marino 1 (Gian Marco Berti and Alessandra Perilli) took Bronzes by winning over Turks Oğuzhan Tüzün and Safiye Temizdemir with 7-3.
The Gold medal match turned into the National Championship of Italy with Mauro de Filippis and Silvana Stanco against Giovanni Pellielo and Maria Lucia Palmitessa. This time there was no Golden Hit but the score was really confident: 7-3.
