A hard-won victory

Compared to the Air Pistol, the Bronze medal match in the Air Rifle event turned out to be disproportionately more difficult. It was really hard for the Italians to take over their Norwegian competitors.

In the first Duel Edoardo Bonazzi beat Jon-Hermann Hegg with 16-12. And the outcome of both the second and third Duels was the same: 17-15! Martina Ziviani was more precise than Jeanette Duestad, and Danilo Dennis Sollazzo was calmer than Henrik Larsen. What a tension!

Now we are waiting for the Gold medal matches, which – we are convinced – will be just as exciting!
