Adjustment to the European Games Qualification System
The European Olympic Committees (EOC) approved an adjustment to the 2023 European Games Qualification System proposed by the ESC Presidium.
In particular, part D.1 Qualification Places for Individual Events has been completed with the following provision:
Depending on the number of available firing points in the 10m/25m/50m Qualification ranges athletes with a quota place in one individual Rifle/Pistol event can obtain the right to take part in another individual Rifle/Pistol event according to the amount of EGQR points in this event in case he/she meets the eligibility requirements described in Section C and the maximum number of athletes per NOC in the second event is respected. Such right is awarded to the individual athlete and not to the NOC.
