Clément Bessaguet ruled in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men event
26 athletes from 15 nations took part in Qualification. Top 8 of them made their way to Ranking Matches.
In the Ranking Match 1 which followed immediately after Ranking Match 2 Florian Peter and 2016 Olympic Champion Christian Reitz both representing Germany were more presice than 2020 Olympic Champion Jean Quiquampoix from France and Riccardo Mazzetti from Italy. In the Ranking Match 2 Clément Bessaguet from France and Martin Podhráský from Czechia beat Ruslan Lunev from Azerbaijan and Podhráský’s compatriot Matěj Rampula.
In the Medal Match Peter was the first to eliminate in the fourth series. Podhráský took the third place and 2024 Paris quota place in the sixth series. Bessaguet who was leading all through the Match beat Reitz with 30:28 and took Gold.
