Daniel and Karolina Romanczyk continued the success of Romanczyk family
The last two competions of the 300m Lapua European Cup were the prone competitions for men and women.
The conditions were a little different than yesterday. The wind was not so rough, but today it was changing directions.
- It was absolutely different day than yesterday, not easier even the wind wasn´t so rough. Today it was clear sky, the sun was shining, but the bright sun is worser. I hit some nines and thought what´s going on. It meant that I had to use polarization in the diopter. Then I could see the target clear, explained polish Daniel Romanczyk, the winner of the Prone.
Romanczyk made the result of 588 (24 inner tens ) and he finished his last serie perfectly with 100 points. Second was Swedish Kim Jönsson (586) and the bronze medal travelled to USA with Nathaniel Guernsey (584).
Karolina Romanczyk took the second gold
When women started the competition, the weather has warmed already with couple of degrees. There was mild wind, but it has also a little bit increased. The sun made also some challenges.
Best ruled the conditions Polish Karolina Romanczyk who made the result 586, silver won Estonian Karina Kotkas 584 and bronze Henna Viljanen 583 from Finland.
