ECH Athens 2025 Day 4: a triumphant close to the first U18 Championships
The inaugural European Championships Shotgun U18 in Athens concluded today, wrapping up four days of inspiring competition where Europe’s young shooters demonstrated talent, focus, and team spirit.

Skeet Trio Women
1st place Zoulemidou Anastasia, Stamou Styliani-Agapi, Markantonaki Anna Maria (GRE)
2nd palce Pyvovarova Ielyzaveta, Lobodina Sofiia, Iliukhina Daryna (UKR)
Skeet Trio Men
1st place Cox Oliver, Reveler Harry, Simons Oliver (GBR)
2nd place Georgaras Adam, Manousakis Nikiforos, Baxevanakis Fotios (GRE)
3rd place Bostik Frantisek, Vokoun Tomas, Kaspar Simon (CZE)
Several athletes emerged as the most decorated performers of the Championships:
Anna Maria Markantonaki (GRE) – Gold in Skeet Individual and Trio events.
Irene Del Rey (ESP) – Gold in Trap Solo and Trap Duet.
Antonio Chiavalon (CRO) – Gold in Trap Team and Trio events.
Fotios Baxevanakis (GRE) – Gold in Skeet Solo and silver in Skeet Trio events.
Sotiroulla Christou (CYP) – Gold in Skeet Solo, silver in Skeet Duet events.
This first European Championships for under 18s has proven how important it is to provide young athletes with high-level competitive opportunities. They have learned, grown, and shown us the future of our sport.
