European shooters continue their pathway to Olympics

Today athletes from different parts of Europe made their fans happy by taking four out of eight Olympic quotas at the ISSF World Championship taking place in Cairo, Egypt.

In 10m Air Pistol Women event there were three European athletes at once taking quota places to Paris! Anna Korakaki from Greece and Zorana Arunović from Serbia took Silver and Bronze medals respectively. Elmira Karapetyan got the quota too becoming 5th.

The winner in this event was Kaiman Lu from China.

In 10m Air Pistol Men event Ukrainian Pavlo Korostylov took the Silver medal. The winner in this event was Yifan Zhang - again from China.
