Four out of eight Olympic quotas in Skeet go to Europe

Once again European athletes came to the podium of the ISSF World Championship Shotgun in Osijek, Croatia.

Italian Diana Bacosi won the Gold medal by taking over Amber Hill from Great Britain. Vanesa Hocková from Slovakia took 4th place being overtaken by Samantha Simonton from the USA.

As Amber Hill has already reserved for herself a place in Olympic Paris, quota has been granted to Iryna Malovichko from Ukraine who was third in Ranking Match 2.

In Skeet Men event the only one representative of European nation was Stefan Nilsson from Sweden. In spite of winning the 4th place he still managed to obtain an Olimpic quota. The winner was Azmy Mehelba from Egypt, Silver and Bronze went to Vincent Hancock (USA) and Rashid Saleh Al-Athba (Qatar).
